I’m Anne Furlong. I received a B.A. from Mississippi College with a major in English and a minor in Spanish. I have a Masters in Teaching from Centenary College and also received 15 graduate level hours in Spanish from LSUS and the University of Costa Rica. I am certified to teach Secondary Spanish and English, and I teach Spanish I and II.
After graduating from Mississippi College, I lived in Mexico for nearly three years. In Mexico, I taught English and worked as a translator. After returning to the U.S., I taught Spanish at Captain Shreve High School in Shreveport, LA for seven years and taught Spanish online for Louisiana Virtual School the following two years. I have been part of the Proximity Learning team since last spring.
